Mariah Carey could have saved her NYE performance with Mind Control

Talk of the town today – Mariah Carey on-stage fiasco at new year’s eve could have been avoided with some ace mind control techniques on her part. Carey, one of the top selling recording artists of all time and a five time Grammy winner while performing at Times Square in NYE, faced a technological breakdown which led to her song lyrics getting whacked out of sync which in turn let to her storming off the stage in a huff.

Problems with the audio equipment on stage, just before the ball drop at midnight made Mariah’s live performance a misery at NYE 2017. She did try to salvage the situation by trying to wing it and asking the crowds to sing the lyrics of her songs but it didn’t quite work out and Mariah stormed off the stage leaving an entire nation talking about her behavior rather than the malfunction. An incident like this in front of a massive live crowd can knock any seasoned performer off their feet, and unfortunately Maria proved to be no exception.

With some mindfulness she could have converted the lip sync show into a radical live performance, making the best out of a bad situation. She could have ditched the pre planned sequence of songs and performances, let the show manager what was happening, taken a minute to compose herself and then chosen her best known songs and asked the crowds to sing along with her as they together welcomed the new year in. This would have not only avoided the meltdown but she would have come out as a hero keeping her diva status intact.

While it is easier said than done, mind control in a deeply unnerving situation can save you from certain disaster. Taking the charging bull by its horns is always a better option than buckling under its fear.
